Learn about Pinellas County Schools District Application Programs

Parents can mark their calendar for events where they can learn more about Pinellas County Schools District Application Programs. A number of important events will take place in November. The district has scheduled three sessions to explain the overall application process and timeline for magnet, fundamental and career-themed programs. All parent information sessions will be held in school auditoriums from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates at the following locations:
• Nov. 7 at Boca Ciega High School, 924 58th St S, Gulfport
• Nov. 12 at Pinellas Park High School, 6305 118th Ave. N, Largo
• Nov. 14 at Countryside High School, 3000 State Road 580, Clearwater

Pinellas County Schools has also scheduled two District Application Program Information Fairs to provide specific information regarding individual magnet, fundamental or career-themed programs. Parents and prospective students will have a chance to talk with school representatives about specific aspects of various application programs:
• 9 a.m. to noon, Nov. 16 at Pinellas Park High School, 6305 118th Ave. N, Largo
• 6 to 8 p.m., Nov. 19 at Gibbs High School, 850 34th St S

The district’s application period for these programs will be Jan. 8-17, 2014.
