Force main failure at South Cross Bayou Water Reclamation Facility

With a 42-inch force main out of commission for repairs and heavy rainfall in recent days, the South Cross Bayou Water Reclamation Facility found it necessary to again divert overflows into Joe’s Creek.

All overflows going to surface water have ceased. Nearby residents are being advised to avoid swimming or other recreational use of Joe’s Creek and Cross Bayou until further notice.
