Developing Stepping Stone, Heritage Village Reopens, Criminal Complex Name Change

Choices Come to Commission on Stepping Stone Property
City leaders will discuss three potential choices for developing the former Stepping Stone property, 158 Ridge Road and select one of the multi-family housing options during the City Commission meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, at City Hall, 201 Highland Ave. Check out the rest of the agenda here.

Heritage Village Reopens
The pine tree project planned for Heritage Village is on hold because of weather, according to county officials. So, the 21-acre living history museum will reopen Wednesday, Aug. 21. The project is expected to start again in the spring.

Criminal Complex Name Change
Nothing is changed except the name. The Pinellas County Criminal Justice Center is now called the Pinellas County Justice Center after changes added traffic court and other administrative functions at the complex, according to county officials.
