"Prostate-Specific Antigen Screening: Should You Do It?"
430 Morton Plant St, Clearwater, FL | Get Directions »
FREE
Morton Plant Hospital says that prostate cancer is the second-leading cause of cancer death for men, after lung cancer. Prostate-specific antigen (or PSA) screening tests can detect the presence of prostate cancer early, before symptoms become evident, but evidence that routine PSA screening saves lives is inconclusive.
Dr. William LaRosa, board-certified urologist, discusses the benefits of these screenings, as well as new advances in the treatment of prostate cancer.
