Pinellas County sheriff's candidates who qualified for the primary election will debate and defend their differing positions at this debate, sponsored by Dunedin’s National Armed Services & Law Enforcement Memorial Museum, Patch.com and Bay News 9. Al Ruechel, Bay News 9 Senior Anchor will moderate the debate.

Organizers say "an especially heated and contentious race" has developed between front-runners Sheriff Bob Gualtieri and four-term former sheriff Everett Rice.
