This annual event raises awareness to stop child abuse and benefits the Parent Aide program at Suncoast Center Inc., which provides services to families at risk for child abuse and neglect.
The Healing Fields exhibit also will be on site, along with music, food, drinks, and a silent auction.
Registration opens at 7:30am. The 5K begins at 8:30am, with a one-mile family walk immediately following. The top three 5K finishers in all categories receive medals.

Walsingham Park is a Pinellas County treasure. It has a large lake with a boat launch, viewing decks and wide lawns. Sprawling over hundreds of acres, it has both open and secluded areas, with many picnic pavilions sharing the park with stands of native pine and oak.
