Want to Help the Largo Police?

The Largo Police Department needs volunteers for its Volunteers in Policing program.

The will host a Volunteers in Policing Academy (VIP's) for residents interested in volunteering their time to help the community. The next academy starts Sept. 11.

Currently the department has 54 volunteers, but more help is needed. The VIP program provides support to the Largo Police Department.

Volunteers help patrol officers, check homes while residents are on vacation, help with paperwork, direct traffic and more.
