Largo Central Park: The annual holiday stroll and tree lighting through Largo Central Park is Dec. 1 from 5 until 9 p.m. the event includes a visit from Santa, a toboggan snow slide, holiday activities and more. The park's holiday light display is open nightly through early January.

Largo's Old Fashioned Christmas Parade: Floats, music, and Santa are part of the parade on Dec. 1 from 2 until 4 p.m. in downtown Largo. The parade starts at the Pinellas County School Board Administration Office at 301 4th St. SW in Largo.

Indian Rocks Beach Street Parade: The land parade starts at Holiday Inn Harbourside and winds through the streets of Indian Rocks Beach to Indian Rocks Beach City Hall. Refreshments are served and children can visit with Santa. The parade starts Dec. 2 at 1 p.m.

Attended the light display at Largo Central Park last evening. Can anyone tell me what the lights from the trees that speckled the ground are called? And when can a person buy them.
