Work crews appeared to be getting ready Thursday for President Barack Obama's visit to the Natural Habitat Park Field at St. Petersburg College Seminole campus on Saturday.
There were stacks of mulch, a TV satellite truck, and people walking around placing orange flags in the field when Patch stopped by late Thursday afternoon.
The Seminole Recreation Center will be closed Saturday, according to a sign on the building.
Between 102nd Avenue and 82nd Ave, 113th Street will be closed on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m, according to a message board along the road.
