Hungry for Chicken Wings?

Niagara Tap may have some of the best wings in Tampa Bay.

When I drove up to Niagara Tap for a review, I was looking forward to some great wings. Patch readers had raved for months about the special rubs and sauces for chicken wings at Niagara Tap.

I decided to order ten honey barbeque chicken wings.  The wait for the food was only about ten to fifteen minutes and once the order came I decided to enjoy my food outside.

The moment of truth came when I opened the box filled with wings. The wings looked great and full of meat and sauce. I took my first bite and was in heaven. My love affair with honey barbeque wings started years ago when I tried some amazing sweet and tangy wings at KFC.

Since then I have tried honey barbeque wings at all the famous places around the Tampa Bay area, but never achieved that same apprecation for honey barbeque sauce until I enjoyed the fine wings from Niagara Tap.

It would be worth it just to order the wings and grab them to-go. Every bite down to the last drop of sauce was perfection. They were reasonably priced with ten wings for $6.45.

My hats off to Niagara Tap. They have some excellent wings that are superior to many Tampa Bay favorites.

It is a smoking establishment, I don't feel like eating "smoked" wings.

In a perfect world, the best places would cater to every one of our fears or idiosyncrasies, the flavors would be rich and true, there would be nothing to complain about and ultimately honest effort would inspire love. In reality, no matter how much someone does well, there is always a niche for the righteous, scared or insecure to find a fault. In turn elevating the naysayer (even if momentarily) to a fleeting sense of false grandeur. Nancy should just order the wings, take them out to her sanitized world and enjoy. Spare the rest of us your self righteousness.

Mr. Jackson, you said (typed) that most succinctly. I couldn't have said (typed) it any better. Oh, and Nancy, this is an article about THE Tap's wings (which are smonderful!)...not about their atmosphere. If you haven't tried them, then don't comment.
