Sheriff's deputies chased three men in a vehicle believed to be involved in a Jan 2. armed robbery at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino.

Deputies spotted the 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt traveling eastbound on Ulmerton and Tall Pines. The car matched the description and license plate of the car allegedly involved in the armed robbery.

The deputy signaled the vehicle and three men to stop, but they sped away. Law enforcement chased the car until it abruptly pulled over between Tall Pines Drive and Whispering Pines in Largo.

The three men identified as Jamal Elias Boatwright, 20, Sebastian Kevin Williams, 20, and Ricky B. Ferguson, 24, fled on foot. After several hours and an extensive search, the Sheriff's Office K9 unit tracked the suspects down to an apartment at 3001 Pines Dr. in Largo. The address is Williams' place of residence.

The Sheriff's Office and Seminole Police are investigating the incident to determine if the three men are the same individuals who committed the armed robbery.

Boatwright was charged with resisting arrest without violence. Williams was charged with armed robbery, violation of probation, possession of cocaine and resisting arrest without violence.  Ferguson was charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement, not having a valid driver's license and resisting arrest without violence .
