Have stopped by the Highland Recreation Complex recently? Now the new building's framework is easily visible from the pool and along Highland Avenue.
This month the construction crews are finishing up the concrete block work and adding the building's steel framework. The construction project remains on budget and on time for its May 2013 completion, said Facilities Manager Glenn Harwood.
Construction work started for the 40,000 square-foot building in February. The $17 million project is being funded through Penny for Pinellas
