Operation Medicine Cabinet Returns to Largo

Dispose of unused or expired prescription medications on Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

 

The Largo Police Department, along with other law enforcement agencies, will be hosting a drop off event for those citizens who wish to dispose of unused or expired prescription drug medications.

On Saturday, Sept. 29 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., citizens may dispose of their medications at the Sweetbay Supermarket at 2460 East Bay Drive, in Largo. Other drop-off locations are listed below or check online.

No bio-hazards items or needles will be accepted. This program is intended for the citizens of Pinellas County and NOT for commercial use. The OMC drop off sites will NOT be at pharmacies and will ONLY be at the parking lot locations.

Look for law enforcement presence to turn in your medications.
