better advice yet is to get trained and apply for a concealed carry weapons permit? robberies and beatings along this taxpayer funded trail are all too common and legitimate users should not have to put up with being victimized by these repeat offendors for simply biking on the public trail? this is a good example of why we need the stand your ground law, depsite what some are saying, law abiding people should not be afraid for their lives while simply enjoying a day or evening biking? of course when a middle aged man is attacked and bike and money stolen there are no parades from the Shaprtons and Jacksons of the world for this victim?
