Obama-Romney Presidential Debate: Who Won?

Presidential candidates Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney squared off for the second time Oct. 16. Who do you think came out on top in this debate?

President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney met for a rematch in Tuesday night's debate, a town hall-style showdown on domestic and foreign policies at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY.

Romney was hailed by many observers as the "winner" of their first debate earlier this month. Who do you think fared better this time? Did either candidate win your vote Tuesday night or state his vision for America more clearly? Did you learn anything new about them? Did the town hall format suit either candidate better?

We're asking all Patch readers across Tampa Bay to weigh in. We hope to create a civil discussion where supporters on both sides of the aisle, and everywhere in between, can start a conversation.

Which candidate do you think won the debate? Let us know what you think in the comments section.

Did you miss Tuesday night’s debate? Don’t worry, you’ll have one more chance to see the presidential contenders square off. Next up is the Oct. 22 debate at Lynn University in Boca Raton, with a focus on foreign policy. That debate will air on most major television networks from 9 to 10:30 p.m.

These debates are getting out of hand, as the moderators are weak. This needs more structure, as it makes our system of elections look immature.

I am also shocked that the Republican Party would stoop so low as ti use the terrorist attack like they have, for political gain. Think about how Romney constantly talking about this has emboldened potential future attackers. This empowers the enemies of freedom. Shame on you Romney

If it had been a republican in office the news media would have gone wild especially after the obvious attempted to cover up the gross incompetence of not making sure the consulate had the protection it requested. An yes it will embolden future attacks. Shame on you for your obvious bias !

Hey Jamie Robe,

What about OBAMA???? He was lying all night? Have you done your FACT CHECK?
If not, read the following >>>>>

OBAMA: "What I've also said is, for (those earning) above $250,000, we can go back to the tax rates we had when Bill Clinton was president."

THE FACTS: Not exactly. The Bush tax cuts set the top income rate at 35 percent. Under Obama's proposal to raise taxes on households earning more than $250,000, the president would return the top rate to the 39.6 percent set during the Clinton administration. But he neglected to mention that his health care law includes a new 0.9 percent Medicare surcharge on households earning over that amount – and that tax would be retained. The health care law also imposes a 3.8 percent tax on investment income for high earners. So tax rates would be higher for the wealthiest Americans than they were under Clinton.

Robe...Romney was only trying to get the truth for the American people. Obama and his administration has lied about the terrorist attack from the very beginning. It made me fill disgusted when Obama was defending his administration and said he was offended. Hey! There was four American lives lost because his Secretary of Defense did not provide security when Ambassador Stephens asked for it. They never even repaired a opening in the wall of the embassy by a past attach. No Robe...the Republican Party is seeking the truth about this tragic cover-up and tragic it is for America. Obama is trying to lie his way past the election...we Americans realize this. We expected Romney to talk about it. Candy Crowly of CNN did a terrible dishonor to herself when she took up for Obama about the Rose
Garden meeting. This was against everything a commentator should not do. Then
later had to apologize that Romney was right. Then after Obama claimed it was not
a terrorist attack, but the u-tube moviie. Come on!!. It doesn't empower the enemies of freedom, nor emboldened potential future attackers. Obama has already did a sorry job of this....apologizing to our enemies...instead of standing up to them. Weak, Weak he is to the whole world. Disgusting !!! Shame on you Obama.

you know, people died here... this was a known hotspot. it wasn't a secret. there were direct attacks on the compound many times over the last few months.. as well as an attack on an amassador outside of the compound. CLEARLY there needed to be heavier security on this embassy. they were caught with their pants down no matter what the media says about movies on youtube... that was an outright lie. THAT OFFENDS ME. PLUS you don't see any news about the other embassy worker who was investigating this situation murdered outside of the compound in yemen... why is that????

It apparently comes as a surprise to most Pro-Romney commenters that this is a very dangerous and complicated world. The State Department people who work in foreign countries risk their lives every day. And every administration, Republican and Democratic has had consulates and embassies -- and under President Reagan, a Marine base where 279 marines died-- attacked. The standard protocol for protection of embassies and consulates is to depend on the police of the host country for protection. In a new democracy such as Libya this presents a real problem. Ambassador Stevens was a brave man who apparently knew the country well and knowingly went where there were risks to do his job. It is so offensive to use his death and the deaths of the other three Americans with him to score political points. BTW, Katina Y, it is the State Department not the Defense Department which is responsible for refusing to renew a special security force for the consulate in Benghazi. There are other errors in your comment, too. And T. Weston, stop the "victim" mentality about how the media would have "gone wild" if this had happened under a Republican Administration. Is that what happened on 9/11/01? No, Americans united and supported the current President. Shame on you and Gov. Romney for not doing that in this case.

You want to say shame on Romney for bringing up the brutalization and death of an American ambassador, plus three others, and you don't want to hold the President accountable for not being straight forward with the American public? How about the democratic attacks on Romney for his work with Bain Capital. He used investor money to save companies while the President used taxpayer money to prop up failing companies owned by donors to his campaign. Put shame where it belongs.

I am not seeing one thought or mention of how the GOP led House voted to cut embassy security by $330M. By all means, criticise Obama for not having exactly all of the facts immediately following the attack but not a peep when Bush and Co were following bad intelligence that took us down a garden path into war.

Bottom line is we still don't know how Romney is going to finance all of his fancy cuts- first he wanted everyone to have $17k in deductions then upped it to $25k. In the corporate world you have a few guys at the top making big bucks and the rest of the workers doing the jobs of 2 or 3 people with stagnant wages and trimmed benefits.Clearly thats what plenty of people want here, but just remember it's only the few at top that do well. I hope your straw gets picked!

Hey Eileen Lanigan. Have you done any FACT CHECK? Well read the following >>>>>OBAMA: "Let's take the money that we've been spending on war over the last decade to rebuild America, roads, bridges, schools. We do those things, not only is your future going to be bright, but America's future is going to be bright as well."

THE FACTS: What Obama didn't mention is that much of the money that has been paying for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan was borrowed. In fact, the government borrows nearly 40 cents for every dollar it spends. Thus using money that had been earmarked for wars to build schools and infrastructure would involve even more borrowing, adding to the federal deficit.

OBAMA: "And what I want to do is build on the 5 million jobs that we've created over the last 30 months in the private sector alone."

THE FACTS: As he has done before, Obama is cherry-picking his numbers to make them sound better than they really are. He ignores the fact that public-sector job losses have dragged down overall job creation. Also, he chooses just to mention the past 30 months. That ignores job losses during his presidency up until that point. According to the Labor Department, about 4.5 million total jobs have been created over the past 30 months. But some 4.3 million jobs were lost during the earlier months of his administration. At this point, Obama is a net job creator, but only marginally.

30 months takes us back to some time in '09. When he got in we were losing millions of jobs. People expected what? A snap of the fingers and instant repair of the last tears of disaster? During previous recessions the gov't did a great deal of hiring (under gop presidents) and these were partly what triggered the recoveries. This time gov't cut jobs. When we look at the EU we see example after example of austerity. Right now there are riots happening all over Europe. people are hungry and are tired of all of the cuts. This has undermined their economy and prolonged their recession. Meanwhile, stimulus was done here. While recover has not been speedy it has been happening- we are no longer losing jobs at the rate we were 36 mos ago. The funny thing is the EU is absolutely reviled by the GOP. They carry on about how awful it is yet they want to do exactly the same thing the EU is doing- cut, cut, cut. Look who suffers under cuts and who gains.

Obama dodged almost all of the questions, and refused to answer directly to Romney. he couldn't even look him in the face when Romney was tearing his lies apart with the facts. Obama downright lied over many subjects during the debate. He also commonly used the "that's just simply not true" statement when he couldn't come up with a good enough response. Romney won it without a doubt, but I do have to say that he needs to watch himself with the interruptions. Also I noticed the moderator sided with Obama on one of the issues, so much for Candy being neutral in the debate. If I could sum Obama's performance tonight up in one word, it's "malarkey".

Too bad for you Romney voters that it is such a complicated world; we all know you find facts too hard to comprehend and prefer a fantasy world of your own construction. The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack. We're working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats. I've also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world. And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people.

Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts.

Already, many Libyans have joined us in doing so, and this attack will not break the bonds between the United States and Libya. Libyan security personnel fought back against the attackers alongside Americans. Libyans helped some of our diplomats find safety, and they carried Ambassador Stevens’s body to the hospital, where we tragically learned that he had died.

There aren't any winners or losers. This is political theater for the few people who have not decided. Anyone that is halfway intelligent has a clear understanding of how these two candidates mesh with their personal political philosophy. The undecided will make an uninformed emotional choice. The neutral fact checkers have already pointed out who is lying. Whether the partisan supporters believe them or not really comes down to whether they support or undermine their candidate. Conformational bias is when we look for and accept information that validates our points of view. There is lots of that going on.

I thought the President won, if there is really such a thing since these are not real debates but more like ads for Democrats and Republicans to use the next day on TV lol The two funniest comments of the evening were: President Obama made ref' to himself saying "when I was President" and Mitt Romney stating being married lowers Gun violence. At the time both were making very good points but had gotten off topic a bit which can lead you down the road of mistakes. lol
All in All it was interesting. I don't think for 95% voters it changed anything, people have mostly made up their minds and we will see in November. I truly wish them both the best of luck and applaud them both for being up on that stage under what must be incredible pressure to perform well. Regardless of which candidate you favor I think its very important to remember and recognize the other candidate is just like you putting himself/herself out there for our benefit. John Doe get a life, there is a huge difference between acts of terror & terrorist attack....when it is acts of terror which is spontaneous in this case for 2 weeks that stupid movie was blamed but in cases of terrorist attack which is premeditated & planned just like what happened with 911 2001 so even though the liberal media continuously blamed the movie most of us didn't believe a word of that, which now they changed their tune finally admitting that it is a premeditated & planned terrorist attack, what a shame nobody had the sense to prevent this tragedy by refusing heavy security!
As for some of you liberals blaming us for politicizing to win the election something else comes to mind; is that why you want to hush hush this tragedy so that you get 4 more years of government takeover & lies, think about it if you are capable of thinking for yourselves only reason we want the truth to come out is for the sake of bringing justice so the 4 innocent lives due to being murdered by bunch of low life terrorists who need to be caught & justice served so that those 4 innocent lives can rest in peace!

Mitt Romney embarrassed himself last night. Pres Obama was articulate and clearly described how he would support women's reproductive rights, a tax system that supported middle class workers, a health care system for everyone and not just the rich, how he would not let the Republicans turn Medicare into a voucher system, how he supports American jobs, and his plans to keep in place regulations on Wall Street to stop the overspeculation that led to this recession. In contrast, Mitt Romney said he will close down Planned Parenthood, create a tax system that will give the rich more tax cuts such as no more capital gains taxes for wealthy people's investments (paid for by eliminating middle class tax deductions), he supports tax deductions to continue for companies who transfer our jobs to China, he wants elderly and sickly 80 year olds to find private health insurance with a voucher, and he wants no more regulations for his rich Wall Street banker friends. The choice is clear for the middle class. Obama/Biden 2012.

Under the Bush Administration, like many of us, we lost almost everything and the Wall Street Bankers won everything. Maybe I'm different, but when Obama came into office, my business boomed, I had over 4 million dollars in contracts, I was a commercial contractor, due to yes, tax breaks both state and federal. I employed over 25 people, not including all the subcontractors I hired and started a new business, that is frankly booming enough that I could go from 42 years of a contractor to a successful retail business that is supporting itself very well. However, I do take credit, as perserverance was one of the key factors in my success. Maybe its a coincidence but under Bush, my business almost failed, our real estate devalued and work was scarce. And I do pay taxes, my fair share. i'm not one of the 42% who doesn't pay taxes. I employ people, pay them a more than fair wage, and frankly amongst all my colleagues who are mostly upper middle class, business is good, very good. So I'm not an Obama Zombie, all politicians lie, its the nature of the business and like school children they fight until they are out of breath and forget that they are elected to do the will of the people not the will of polarized fellow politicians, and that will probably never change. So cheer for one side or the other, but neither will ever address the real issuess at hand. We are just not competitive in the world market today and thats an issue of education, not politics!

Romney's wealthy friends are now giving him millions of campaign dollars to make sure that they Romney protects the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. Romney's Wall Street banker friends have also gotten Romney to promise to remove regulations on greedy Wall Street bankers whose speculation practices led to this great recession. To pay for Romney's tax cuts for the rich and also for an additional 2 trillion dollars in military spending to enrich Romney's military contractor friends, the middle class safety net will have to be eliminated. Unless you make $250,000 a year and can buy whatever healthcare or whatever else you want, a vote for Mitt Romney is detrimental to your family and to your country.
Odds are, you'll never make that much money.
This year, vote in YOUR best interest. Romney genuinely cares ONLY for the rich, among whom he's a major player.
He doesn't care about healthcare: he can pay to go to any doc or hospital he wants. You can't.
He doesn't care about college costs: his kids went anywhere they chose. Yours can't.
He doesn't care about Medicaid: nobody he knows will ever need it. You know somebody: your Mom in a nursing home, maybe?
He doesn't care about Medicare: he can afford his treatments and prescriptions. You can't.
He doesn't care about American jobs. He has one, and so do his cronies, even if he isn't elected. How secure is your job? Honestly?
Barack Obama cares for the 98%, and, sorry, you're part of it.
Admit that you are and always will be among the vast majority of Americans and vote for the only candidate who's likely to make your life better.
Vote for Obama and for every other Democrat who can truly represent you.
You'll improve your life, and mine. Thanks.

One more time, Anti-Liberal, Ms. Fluke does not want the "government to give her contraception". She wants to have her personal insurance ----which she pays for---- cover contraception without a copay. The Catholic Bishops in their infinite wisdom with all of their knowledge of women's bodies have decided that Catholic institutions (hospitals, charities, colleges, bookstores) open to people of all religions as employees serving all people in the community don't need to include contraception coverage in the insurance the employees pay for themselves or receive as part of their compensation for their work. This will be worked out because the Catholic Church cannot just make up their own rules for secular businesses they run. Or the Catholic Church will just stop running those businesses. Please don't embarrass yourself any more by repeating an out and out lie which can be so easily proven wrong. Most pro-life supporters know this information. Now you do also. Please use it.

Bishops' Pro-Life Chair Strongly Opposes Recommended Mandate for Birth Control, Sterilization in Private Health Plans by Cardinal Daniel DiNardo
I strongly oppose the Institute of Medicine’s recommendation today that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) mandate coverage of three particular practices in almost all private health plans: surgical sterilization; all FDA-approved birth control (including the IUD, “morning-after” pills, and the abortion-inducing drug Ella); and “education and counseling” promoting these among all “women of reproductive capacity.” Pregnancy is not a disease, and fertility is not a pathological condition to be suppressed by any means technically possible. The IOM report claims it would have good reason to recommend mandatory coverage for surgical abortions as well, if such a mandate were not prevented by law.

But most Americans surely see that abortion is not healthy or therapeutic for unborn children, and has physical and mental health risks for women which can be extremely serious. I can only conclude that there is an ideology at work in these recommendations that goes beyond any objective assessment of the health needs of women and children.

The single largest abortion provider in the United States, Planned Parenthood, is celebrating the IOM’s report. If the HHS does likewise and implements its recommendations, these controversial practices will be mandated for all insurance plans – public and private – without co-pay from anyone receiving them. The considerable cost of these practices will be paid by all who participate in health coverage, employers and employees alike, including those who conscientiously object to Planned Parenthood’s agenda.

Without sufficient legal protection for rights of conscience, such a mandate would force all men, women and children to carry health coverage that violates the deeply-held moral and religious convictions of many. This new threat to conscience makes it especially critical for Congress to pass the “Respect for Rights of Conscience Act” introduced by Reps. Jeff Fortenberry and Dan Boren (HR 1179). I am writing to all members of Congress to urge their co-sponsorship.

The IOM missed an opportunity to promote better health care for women that is life-affirming and truly compassionate. I once again urge the Department of Health and Human Services to focus on the need of all Americans, including immigrants and the poor, for basic life-saving health coverage – not on mandating controversial elective practices in ways that undermine the good of women and children, the consciences of employers, employees and health plan providers, and the common good.

There are more articles on how wrong you are about the Catholic's Stand On Birth Control, here is another article this one is from a Doctor's point of view:
NFP effective, leads to happier marriages, local physician says
By Monica Hatcher

7/17/2012
HOUSTON — Dr. Linda Holleran has been helping couples with Natural Family Planning for more than three decades. The Cypress-based family physician, who just completed a masters in theology from the University of St. Thomas, has one of the few medical practices in Texas that embraces and promotes the method. Based on the science of human reproduction, Natural Family Planning is an umbrella term used to refer to various methods of naturally achieving or avoiding pregnancy by observing the signs and symptoms of a woman’s fertility. Holleran, who for many years has worked closely with Joe and Cindy Devet, coordinators for the Archdiocesan Natural Family Planning program, said there is an enormous need for more doctors and nurse practitioners who support Natural Family Planning. “They would have booming practice because the demand is there,” she said. To commemorate the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Natural Family Planning Awareness Week, July 22 to 28, Halloran shared her unique perspective on the beauty and wisdom of Church teaching with regard to human sexuality.

TCH: What is involved in NFP consulting? Do you work with couples who are trying to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy?

Holleran: I do a lot of the basic things. At some point, if they are trying to get pregnant and still having difficulties, they’ll have to go to see an infertility specialist. But they know if they come to me for their pap smears or consultations that I won’t criticize them or mock them for using NFP. I’m accepting of their beliefs because I believe them, too. Couples take classes offered through the diocese or in their parish, but if they are having difficulties charting fertility or something doesn't make sense to them, that is when they come or are referred to me.
TCH: What is the benefit you’ve seen among couples who practice NFP?

Holleran: They have happy families. Women are proud of being moms in a really deep sense. It’s hard to explain the difference. I mean, moms are happy to be moms. With NFP moms, each child is chosen and cherished. It’s just a beautiful thing to see. There is a lot of closeness between the husbands and wives. It’s that kind of joy that comes from knowing you are walking in God’s will. It’s not as if it’s always easy. Some have special needs kids or their own challenges that they have to face but it doesn’t change what is inside. I see so many people and you can almost tell a person who practices NFP when they walk in the door. They are smiling and open and settled. I think it’s because sexuality gets down to the core and when you have that right in God’s eyes, it is a very special thing.

TCH: In your practice, do you ever suggest to couples who may not practice NFP to try it?
Holleran: All the time! Absolutely! It’s almost a joke in our office because I refer a lot of people. I’m sure many of them never follow through, but I feel like they ought to know that they have a choice. When you look at the dangers of artificial contraception, it’s fascinating to me that more women don’t get scared. When a young woman has never had a child and is on birth control pills, for example, the risk of complications down the line is significant. Birth control pills are not natural to the body. In every other part of medicine, there is this big movement towards the natural. People are always asking for natural alternatives and want to avoid taking medications, but when it comes to their sex life, they’re very willing to just take a pill. So, if I am working with a couple, I emphasize how natural it is. I emphasize that the knowledge, once they have it, can be used forever — for regular periods, irregular periods, after childbirth, at menopause. They know their body. I also point out that intimacy between husband and wife increases. The chances of making a successful marriage are definitely increased. And they can use NFP to get pregnant or not get pregnant. So, it’s a skill that works both ways.

TCH: What do they say after trying it?

Holleran: They are always happy. And for the ones that are not Catholic, I always wonder if that is going to pull them into the church. It’s when they find truth somewhere that they didn’t expect it that you wonder what else that could be changing besides their sex life.

TCH: What do you think is so difficult about this teaching of the Church for most Catholics to accept?

Holleran: That it works. I don’t think that most couples think that the Church teaching actually does work as the Church says it does. I don’t think they understand how it affects a couple’s relationship. They don’t realize that NFP is effective because they have never been taught. I don’t think that most people have faith that the Church knows what she is talking about. I’m not sure where Catholics get any correct teaching on contraception. I went to Catholic schools all my life, from first grade through college, and I never had anyone explains these truths to me. I never even read Humanae Vitae until I was in my mid 30s or early 40s and had my eyes opened to the beauty of this teaching.

Anti-Liberal. Your long, long cut and paste post just proved my point. And since I am not Catholic, you know what? I don't have to listen to an old, white, celibate Bishop yammer on about "family planning" and birth control and how Catholic families just don't understand how well the Catholic approach actually works! You apparently are willing to have him and the other oh-so-knowledgeable celibate Bishops control your reproductive and sexual life. And, Anti-Liberal, that is the point. I am not Catholic. I do not need any more of their rules put into law. We have a majority Catholic Supreme Court. We have two vice presidential candidates who are Catholic running for office. I don't fault anyone for their beliefs but I draw the line at them imposing their religion on me through laws.

Lynda you need to wake up & realize you are wrong Catholics are against on using dangerous birth control which has also been proven by the medical associations through out the world that these pills cause great damage to our bodies, my belief is on the medical side, use common sense Lynda why do you want to support a bill by democrats to approve this dangerous form of birth control, do you think they are going to care when you are fighting for your life due to adverse reaction from these horrible pills, trust me I speak from experience of losing my best friend due to advance stage of blood clotting, she was having stomach pains & doctor told her she was having pms which was not the case her condition got worst & she ultimately died, many doctors tell you this is a rare case but in reality & sadly it is not, so please understand it might seem I am siding with the church, my point is purely based on medical research & evidence, like you I am not Catholic, I don't believe in organized religion it is not for me but I do have a strong faith in God, I am pro life by choice cause I love babies, they are the greatest joy, I love visiting the maternity ward to welcome newborn babies & give a small gift or sometimes I give gift cards to spread random act of kindness, I don't belong to any organization, I do this all on my own so I hope you understand & give me some credit for this is who I am...

Obama in 'real trouble' in Florida

President Barack Obama is "in real trouble" in Florida, and the presidential race in the pivotal state may not be even close,

"They're in real trouble in terms of intensity. The 18-29-year-old vote, which was decisive for [Obama] in 2008, the intensity factor is down 25 percent. And in Florida, it's even higher because of the unemployment rate among young people,"

I do not think either "won". Obama was more "awake" but no meat on the bones to pick at. Romney actually made logical comments; he finally even talked about the "loopholes". For people to say he is not specific... what part of the five point plan do they not get?! Romney is not a professional politician. He has an idea of what to say to "tickle" our ears but as most successful business people he has no time for that "BS". He is in business to succeed (make money) and I believe he sees this challenge of getting the USA back in financial order as the ultimate challenge and since he understands that his talents and abilities are from his Creator, which happens to be my Creator as well; I choose to stand in agreement with him and pray for wisdom not only for Romney but for all who will be joining the ranks of government next year that they may succeed in the endeavor so that our nation can heal and once again gain the respect and admiration of the world.

Romney has a five point plan. The plan is to give more tax cuts for the rich and pay for it by eliminating the tax deductions for the middle class. The plan is to benefit his wealthy donors in the private health care industry by giving us Medicare vouchers and forcing us to negotiate with private health insurance companies when we're old and sickly. The plan is to increase military spending by 2 trillion dollars so that Romney's wealthy military contractor friends profit greatly building expensive weapons that the military is not even asking for. The plan is to repeal universal health care so that only the rich will be able to afford health care. The rest of us will just have to use the emergency room. The final plan is to close down Planned Parenthood and deny women their family planning, birth control, and abortions rights. We will return to a pre-1973 Roe v. Wade world where women will start dying again from having illegal and dangerous abortions.

SFM. "(Gov.) Romney is not a professional politician'.? Just what else would you call a man who has been running (unsuccessfully!!) for President for the last 7 plus years? Is he just a "professional losing politician" ? Please remember he "retroactively" retired from Bain in 1999 or 2001 or some other convenient date for tax purposes. What kind of "business " do you think he is in? His money is managed by a blind trust or so he says. All he has done for the last 7 + years is to go around the country making speeches to rich people trying to get money to get elected. That certainly counts as being a "professional" politician these days.

"Anti-Liberal" cites as his reference the newspaper founded by the (recently) late Rev. Sun Myung Moon. (remember Moonies?)
This newspaper is ridiculously conservative: "a crucial training ground for many rising conservative journalists and a must-read for those in the movement. A veritable who’s who of conservatives — Tony Blankley, Frank J. Gaffney Jr., Larry Kudlow, John Podhoretz (David Brooks) and Tony Snow — has churned out copy for its pages."
If you're a Moony, you definely should honor Sun Myung Moon by voting for Romney. Otherwise, make the pro-American choice.

At the debate, Romney said that he truly cared about 100% of all Americans. However, at a fundraiser in front of millionare donors in Boca Raton, Romney clearly stated that he didn't care at all about 47% of Americans. He simply dismissed 47% of the population as people who considered themselves as "victims" and were merely takers dependent on government handouts. Since it is impossible that both of these contradictory statements can be true, we must decide whether Romney told the truth when he didn't know that he was being secretly recorded or when he had television cameras pointing at him during the debate. It is clear that Romney was telling the truth in Boca Raton when he thought that he was only talking in secret to his millionaire donors. If Romney wins, the middle class loses. If you believe in the middle class, vote Obama/Biden 2012.

He falsely said at the second debate that he sought "binders of women" profiles to find women to hire as governor, but, actually, he was forced to use binders and signed a promise to use them.

Here's proof how bad pills are:
Bayer's Deadly Birth-Control Pills: Alleged Toll Climbs to 190, Shareholders Revolt
About 190 women have died while taking Yaz and Yasmin, Bayer's (BAYRY) two leading contraceptive pill brands, according to the Swiss media, and the company faces a shareholder motion condemning its marketing of the brands at its April 29 annual meeting.
The vote is unlikely to pass, but it will draw attention to Bayer's increasing problems on its contraceptive franchise. Through February 2011, Bayer faces 6,850 lawsuits in the U.S. accusing the pills of creating potentially lethal blood clots and gall bladder damage, according to page 242 of its annual report. The number of suits is growing fast. Last October, there were "only" 4,200 suits. In September, the total was just 2,000. The number of fatalities alleged in those suits is unknown, but a little-noticed German-language report on Swiss Television last year claimed that a search of the FDA's adverse event database found "in round figures" 140 deaths associated with Yasmin, and 50 with Yaz, the newer brand. Those numbers will be used against Bayer at its shareholder meeting.

Headaches, migraines, mental depression (even to the point of suicide

Here's the number one cause of damage due to the pill, the one that killed my best friend;
HEART AND BLOOD ABNORMALITIES
Blood Clots can form, restricting or blocking the flow of blood to
critical organs and other body systems, possibly causing permanent damage.
For example, a blood clot in the heart would cause a heart attack; in the
brain it would cause a stroke or brain hemorrhage; a clot which moved from
elsewhere in the body and lodged in the lung would cause a pulmonary
embolism; in the kidneys a clot would cause a renal artery thrombosis and
kidney damage; in the retinal arteries it would cause temporary or
permanent blindness. High Blood Pressure and alterations in the blood clotting mechanisms may
be seen in women on the Pill. This may contribute to a 3-11 times
increased risk of developing blood clots in Pill users compared to
non-users. The risk is especially great for women who smoke and/or are
over 35 years old.
Ladies I hope this will be a wake up call, I wish I could have convinced my best friend but sadly not...
