Largo's Touch-a-Truck Day Brings Family Fun

With over 100 clowns, rides and fair food at the 16th Annual Touch-a-Truck event at Largo Central Park, there will be tons of family fun.

 

Largo’s Central Park will transform into a family fun house on Saturday for the 16th Annual Touch-a-Truck day. The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Over 100 clowns including those from Largo’s Uptown Clown Alley will join in on the festivities. Kids will have the chance to climb, honk and get to know more about the city’s fleet. They will have the chance to see motorcycles, military vehicles a Bayflight helicopter.

The city will also run the train rides along the park’s railroad and Rocketship car rides around the block.

As a special treat hot air balloon rides will be given at the park’s Military Court of Honor from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. for $10.

Visitors can join in on the festivities by having their face painted by one of Uptown Clown Alley’s clowns or walkway with a balloon animal. Food and drinks will be sold.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be limited parking on-site but shuttles will be offered from Largo High School to the park. Or for those willing to walk parking is also available at Largo Middle School.
