Largo Pedestrian Killed Crossing Seminole Boulevard
A 56-year-old man was struck by a Ford Taurus on Sunday night and later died from his injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A 56-year-old Largo man died after he was struck by a car while crossing Seminole Boulevard on Sunday night.
Michael Patrick Bain was crossing Seminole at 110th Avenue North around 7:49 p.m. Sunday when he walked into the path of a 1997 Ford Taurus traveling southbound, according to a Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson.
Bain "received critical injuries" and was taken to Largo Medical Center, where he died a short time later, Sgt. Steve Gaskins wrote in a media release.
The Taurus' 71-year-old driver, Thomas R. Lardani, has not been charged. He received minor injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
