Largo Man Arrested in Drug Sting
Clearwater Police conducted a prostitution and drug detail in the East Gateway and Old Clearwater Bay neighborhoods throughout the weekend, making a total of eight arrests.
A Largo man was arrested and charged with drug possession during a prostitution and drug detail run by Clearwater Police in the East Gateway and Old Clearwater Bay neighborhoods throughout the weekend.
The Anti Crime and Downtown Bike Team conducted the detail in response to neighbors quality of life concerns, according to police.

- Linda Bosack, 59, of Clearwater, felony charge of prostitution
- Frances Louise Marshall, 58, of Clearwater, prostitution
- Doreen Laffey, 44, of Clearwater, four counts of prostitution, eight counts of obtaining property in return for a worthless check
- Edward Cottrell, 53, of Largo, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia
- Nicholas Surls, 31, of St. Petersburg, possession of zolpidem
- John Paul Brown, 48, of Clearwater, possession of controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of controlled substance
- Jessica Beatty, 31, of Clearwater, possession of crack cocaine
- Rachael Ault, 21, of Clearwater, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of xanax, possession of cocaine
