Updated, 2:34 p.m.: Ulmerton Road has reopened to traffic following a reported gas leak, authorities said.

A gas leak has been reported on Ulmerton Road at Tall Pines Drive in Largo, causing a temporary closure of the roadway, authorities said.

Pinellas County Sheriff's deputies are assisting with traffic as the problem is addressed, officials said Tuesday morning.

There was no immediate word on the cause or location of the leak or when the road would reopen.
