1. What to wear? Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 81. There's a 20 percent chance of showers after 10 a.m. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 64, according to the National Weather Service.
2. First Steps. Come to the Largo Public Library today at 10:00 a.m. for stories, songs, and fingerplays. For parents and caregivers with babies up to 18 months. The library recommends one baby per lap.
3. Heart Valve Seminar. Morton Plant Mease cardiologists share about a new heart valve procedure, which allows surgeons to potentially operate on more patients. The seminar is today at noon at the Bardmoor Outpatient Center, 8787 Bryan Dairy Road. For seminar pre-registration, call (727) 953-6877.
4. Largo Adult and Senior Idol. Local talent competes for cash prizes in this show at the Largo Community Center, 400 Alternate Keene Road, today at 1 p.m. Tickets are $5.
