- New to Redbox this week is Hocus Pocus starring Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker. The family-friendly film is about three outlandishly wild witches who return from 17th-century Salem after they are accidentally summoned by pranksters. The 300-year-old trio sets out to cast a spell on the town and reclaim their youth. But before they do they have to deal with three kids and a talking cat. Watch the trailer. Find a Redbox near you.
- What improvements would you like to see in our city's transportation? Commissioner Harriet Crozier wants to know. She is working on Pinellas Alternatives Analysis which is a study to analyze and ultimately improve our public transportation. - Learn about Florida's wilderness, native plants and animals. The McGough Nature Park is offering Florida Naturalist Series on Wednesday's fro Oct. 12, 26 and Nov. 9. Students will receive a certificate of completion and naturalist guide materials. The course is $30 per student and includes materials, meals and supplies.
