Beauty & the Beast, Relay for Life, Sidewalk Book Sale, Democratic Caucus
1. What to wear? Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 88. Expect a partly cloudy night, with a low around 70, according to the National Weather Service.
2. Beauty and the Beast. Largo has two productions of Beauty and the Beast this weekend.
- Largo High School students star in the Disney Broadway musical, Beauty and the Beast, tonight at 7 p.m. The show will be in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
- Indian Rocks Christian School students star in Disney's Beauty and the Beast Jr. Tonight the show is at 7 p.m. Saturday's shows are at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The play will be in the First Baptist Church of the Indian Rocks Fellowship Center, 12685 Ulmerton Rd, Largo.
3. Relay for Life. The American Cancer Society's 2012 Relay for Life comes to Largo Central Park. The overnight event starts tonight at 6 p.m. and goes through 9 a.m. on Saturday.
4. Sidewalk Book Sale. The Friends of the Largo Public Library have a book sale on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The sale will offer a wide selection of fiction books.
5. Democratic Caucus. Largo hosts the Pinellas County Democratic Caucus on Saturday. The caucus will convene at the Largo Community Center from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
