- Weather: It’ll be a cloudy day with some showers but don’t let that keep you indoors. Today there will be scattered showers should happen before 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high will be near 68 with a low around 52 degrees.
- Kid Friendly Train Rides: Largo Central Park’s monthly miniature train rides today. There is no charge for this fun family friendly activity, but donations are expected to support the train rides. The rides are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Largo Central Park located at 101 Central Park Dr.
- Fun Science: Your kids will learn that science is fun at the Super Scientific Circus today at Largo Cultural Center at 105 Central Park Dr. Tickets are $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for children and $20 for a family of four. Show starts at 11 a.m.
- Super Bowl Ribs: If you’re planning on grilling ribs this weekend, here’s a deal. Sweet Bay has buy one, get one free on country style pork ribs. This is on a small pack of under 3-pounds and there’s a limit of two per person. They also have a rib value pack for $2.49 a pound. There are two Sweet Bay locations in Largo: 60 East Bay Dr. and 10370 Seminole Blvd.
