I love fish tacos and find no two restaurants prepares them exactly the same way. And I am happy to try the various recipes! So when I passed the Thirsty Marlin on West Bay and saw a sign for $2 fish tacos I had to investigate.
Blackened, grilled or fried? I loved the idea of options for fish preparation! I picked blackened and my thick piece of mahimahi was served with lettuce on a soft tortilla. The sauces and a dish of black beans and rice came on the side at no additional charge!
The tacos were great and the atmosphere of the Key West style restaurant was relaxing and inviting.

We have a Thirsty Marlin here in Palm Harbor, too. I've always enjoyed the fish tacos.. and they make some tasty fries, too.
