Fingerprint Led to Bank Robbery Suspect's Arrest, Officials Say
After a series of bank robberies in the Largo area, two suspects are now in custody at the Pinellas County Jail.
Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives think they have found the suspects behind at least one recent Wells Fargo Bank robbery.
The Wells Fargo Bank on Park Boulevard in Seminole was robbed on Jan. 9. A fingerprint found at the crime scene came back as a match to Nathan Blisard, 29, of Largo, according to a media release.
Blisard was located Jan. 11 around 1 p.m., driving a dark-colored Mustang, near the intersection of Starkey Road and 76th Avenue North in Seminole.
He was arrested on the charge of robbery, according to a media release.
His girlfriend, Meaghan Zimmer, 23, of Largo, was located at a residence nearby. Zimmer reportedly "admitted to driving the getaway car during one of the robberies," according to a media release.
Zimmer was arrested on the charge of robbery and on a warrant for violation of probation, possession of methadone.
A booking photo of Zimmer was not yet available.
Largo Police detectives are interviewing both suspects about possible connections to bank robberies in Largo.
The investigation is ongoing.
