• Make A Free Gift: (Saturday) Just in time for Valentine's Day, kids can make a free, heart shelf at Home Depot's Kids’ Workshop, held the first Saturday of the month. The event is Saturday, Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon for children ages five to twelve. In addition to their newly-created project, kids will also receive a kid-sized, orange Home Depot apron and an accomplishment pin. Home Depot is located at 10689 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL. 33770.

• Family Fun: (Saturday and Sunday) Ride the miniature trains at Largo Central Park this weekend. The Largo Central Railroad runs the first full weekend of each month. The ride is free, though donations are expected and help with the upkeep of the trains. Make it an all-day family event: pack a picnic lunch, bring footballs or kites and enjoy the train ride through beautiful Largo Park. The train runs Saturday, Feb. 6 and Sunday, Feb. 7  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Largo Central Park is located at 101 Central Park Drive, Largo, FL. 33771.

• Organic Fit Kids: (Sunday) Features  the special show  "Jack and the Beanstalk" on Sunday, Feb. 6 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. This unique, theater show includes music, puppetry and music to teach kids about organic food, fitness and wellness. Kids and parents will learn about the effects of sugar on the body.
• Family Fun-O-Rama: (Monday) Don't miss Largo Library's night time fun. Dress the kids in their pajamas and slippers, and join Ms. Linda for family stories and crafts. The family activity is held every Monday nightfrom 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
