Deputies Say Man Threatened Realtor With a Gun
Thursday afternoon a real estate agent was trying to show a home when she was threatened by a current tenant with a gun, according to the sheriff's office.
On Thursday afternoon realtor Sherry Lowry was showing a client a house for sale at 14924 113th Avenue North.
As Lowry gave a tour of the residence, a current tenant, Timothy V. Lee, "brandished" a gun and allegedly threatened to shoot the realtor and her client, according to a news release.
Lowry and her client left the residence safely and called the sheriff's office.
When deputies arrived at the 113th Avenue North home they created a perimeter around the neighborhood. They tried to contact Lee multiple times. But Lee would not answer the phone or come to the door, at first. Eventually the 45-year-old man surrendered peacefully, deputies said.
Lee was arrested on the charge of aggravated assault.
