The Class of 2012 was set to graduate Friday night (June 8) from Brighthouse Field in Clearwater. But heavy, rains delayed commencement celebrations until this morning (June 11).

Karen Young and her daughter Allison Carrigan waited for about an hour in the wet, sticky weather at Brighthouse Field.

"It was sad watching the girl crying and that the class had to be separated," Young said.

Fast forward three days. Sunny skies greeted students and their families and friends at Largo High School. Due to space limitations, the class graduated in two separate ceremonies in the school's auditorium on June 11.
