Buffalo Wild Wings Coming Soon to Largo

The new restaurant plans to open around Oct. 1 at Largo Mall.

Have you noticed the new building going up in the northeast section of the Largo Mall near Ulmerton Road?

Around Oct. 1 in time for action-packed fall sports viewing, the Buffalo Wild Wings plans to open. The restaurant will offer more than 50 high definition TVs and more than five big screen TVs, according to Regional Marketing Manager Randy Groover.

Love wings? The sports bar offers a selection of 16 wet and four dry rub options. Beyond wings, "savory" salads, wraps, and build-your-own burgers are just a few of the options on the restaurant's full menu, Groover said.

A pair of hungry guys seeking New York-style wings opened the first Buffalo Wild Wings in 1982 at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Now there are more than 825 restaurants.

The new Largo location will be the second one in the area.

Great location for a real bar like this. This section of Ulmerton could use one. Most of the bars are worthless in this area of Largo.
