1. Seussical Jr. One of the most performed-shows in America, this summer camp production is sure to be an entertaining event for kids, by kids. Participants range from ages 8 to 13.
- When: 7 p.m., Friday, June 29 and 11 a.m., Saturday, June 30
- Where: Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Dr.
- How much: $7.50
2. Touch-A-Truck. The Armed Forces History Museum will have Touch-A-Truck starting this Saturday as a part of their Sizzling Summer promotion. World War II reenactments will be a highlight, and this event is sure to be cool for children.
- When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, June 30
- Where: Armed Forces History Museum, 2050 34th Way N
- How much: $17.95 adults, $12.95 for ages 4-12. Some vehicles will be available for rides at an additional fee.
3. 101st Birthday Celebration for Dr. Snider. An event organized by The Sun Coast Osteopathic Foundation in honor of Dr. Snider, who achieved his childhood dream and founded the Sun Coast Hospital in Largo.

4. Pinellas Writers and Authors Meeting. This organization meets every Saturday and accepts writers of all levels to join them, from published authors to newcomers.
- When: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30
- Where: Highland Recreation Complex, 400 Highland Ave.
- How much: $35 per year
5. Melissa Dohme Benefit. This event is sponsored by neighbors helping a neighbor with medical and therapy expenses. Melissa was brutally stabbed earlier this year 32 times by her ex-boyfriend, according to Clearwater Police, and survived. There will be a bloodmobile and plenty of activities and giveaways for everyone at the event.
- When: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 30
- Where: Crest Lake Park, 201 S Glenwood Ave., Clearwater
- How much: Free. Donations will be accepted.
