Cindy Mazzaferro, a Pinellas County Animal Services senior animal care assistant, received the Animal Caretaker of the Year award for her commitment and hard work in assisting the shelter.
She provided daily care for the shelters animals, fostered kittens and puppies and exemplified leadership quialities in her community service.
